Public Health Looking for Dog in Stratford Biting Incident

Huron-Perth Public Health is looking for the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident on Saturday in Stratford.

On June 22nd at around 12:30pm a victim was bitten by a dog on Franklin Drive.

The dog is described as a large, dark and light brown possibly mixed breed.

One woman was with the dog at the time who was leashed but got away at the time of the incident. Public health wants to make sure the dog is up to date with its rabies vaccination.

Public health is also reminding residents to always get contact information of the owners of the animal involved in the incident.
