St Marys General Hospital alongside Waterloo Public Health is investigating a potential 2nd outbreak of COVID-19 at the hospital.
The potential outbreak is occurring on the 7th floor medicine unit. This comes after a confirmed case from yesterday in a patient who may have gotten the virus during a previous stay at St. Marys.
Rapid testing is taking place on eight patients and staff and awaiting results before declaring an outbreak
