Huron-Perth Public Health will be holding catch up to date routine immunizations for high school students starting next week and to run into the summer.

Typically, students receive these immunizations at school based clinics however due to the pandemic, many youth have been not to stay up to date with these shots.

Under Ontario’s Immunization of School Pupils Act, all students attending elementary or secondary school are required to have proof of immunization against certain diseases such as tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis.

Youth born from 2004-2006 will have available clinics starting next week, including one in Listowel on Thursday May 26th.
