The Provincial Government is considering a 3 week lockdown across Southern Ontario.
The dates being proposed are from Boxing Day until January 11th.
The move is being considered in response to the recent dramatic rise in the number of cases across the province.
The proposed move is similar to what is happening in Quebec after Christmas Day.
The exact closures and restrictions have yet to be decided.
Schools would then not resume in-person classes during the lockdown and only resume until January 11th.
