The Ontario government announced today that it is providing support to the municipality of Brockton to help finance the second phase expansion at East Ridge Industrial Park in Walkerton.
Through the Infrastructure Ontario Loan Program, almost $6 million will support the expansion of serviced lots through affordable, long-term financing.
MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson says that the funding is an important step that will open up much needed fully serviced industrial sites. She adds that demand is high due to a shortage of municipally owned, serviced lots.
