Once Huron Perth and Wellington County exit the Stay-at-Home order and re-enter the colour coded Covid-19 protection framework the public health restrictions in place will depend on the colour of the framework they are in.

Brief Overview

Grey

  • In person shopping permitted for retail sales
  • 50 % capacity for supermarkets and other stores that primarily sell groceries, convenience stores and pharmacies
  • 25% capacity for all other stores that do retail sales including big box
  • curbside & delivery permitted
  • store capacity to be posted publicly
  • Screen in compliance with any advice, recommendations and instructions issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health or Public Health official including on how to screen themselves for Covid-19 prior to entering
  • actively screen all workers at the business or organization before they enter the premises
  • require individuals to maintain a 2 meters distance and to wear a face covering with limited exceptions

  • Actively screen patrons entering indoor malls in Orange zon
  • Require passive screening except for indoor malls and other sectors required to screen in accordance with advice from the Chief Medical Officer of Health as per the original frameowrk
  • Require all retailers and sectors to have a safety plan and post it
  • Require individuals to maintain at least a 2 meter distance and wear a face covering including when attending organized public events and other gatherings, with limited exceptions
