Huron County OPP alongside South Bruce OPP in Lucknow to kick off the annual Project Red Ribbon Campaign.
On November 12th OPP officers with volunteers from the Huron Bruce Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter started a RIDE Program to create awareness and find any potential impaired drivers.
Project Red Ribbon is an annual awareness campaign to promote sober driving during the holiday season.
OPP Sergeant Russ Nesbitt says drivers should expect to see enhanced patrols and RIDE checks over the season, adding driving sober is always the right choice.
