Premier Ford has dismissed Roman Baber as a sitting member of the PC Caucus.
Baber, who served as MPP for York Centre sent the Premier a letter calling for an end to lockdown. In the letter, Baber used “The Lockdown is Deadlier Than Covid” in the subject line. Baber said the lockdown is causing a large rise in suicides, overdoses, bankruptcy, divorces and taking a toll on children.
Premier Ford says Baber’s comments are irresponsible and is spreading misinformation. Baber is not permitted to seek re-election as a member of the PC Party.
