The Listowel Kinsmen’s Pot O’Gold tickets are now on sale.
With over $50,000 in local goods up for grabs, tickets are selling fast with only 1000 on sale. As Chris Kurz says, this event is 110 percent all local.
“We buy about $50,000 from local merchants and if it sells out there’s another $50,000 worth of profit we reinvest in the community. It all stays within the community.” said Kurz
Kurz added you really should not be waiting to get your tickets, he says they’ll likely be sold out before you know it.
“I have a feeling its going to be sold out by Christmas. We call our past buyers from last year and I’ve been telling them don’t wait. A lot of people wait until just before the early bird draw. Knowing this community, I think it’ll be sold out.”
