A Guelph driver is facing charges after a plate reader found an expired permit.
On March 25th at around 4:45pm, Wellington County OPP was on patrol on Wellington Road 35 in Puslinch when the plate reader notified the officer traveling with an expired permit.
During a stop it was found the vehicle was in an unsafe condition.
As a result, a 55 year old of Guelph has been charged with Operating an Unsafe Vehicle, No Muffler, Defective Braking System, Driving with no Validated Permit and Operating without Insurance.
The accused will appear in court in July.
