Perth-Wellington MPP Pettapiece drops off First Agri-Food Worker HEPA Unit

Farms & Agri-Food businesses that employ and provide Housing to International agri-food workers are eligible for One HEPA filter unit per employer provided congregate living setting.

MPP for Perth-Wellington Randy Pettapiece, on behalf of Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, was in Windsor-Essex on Thursday to drop off a HEPA filters for the use of agri-food workers.

The move is in efforts to improve ventilation in agri-food congregate living settings.

The Government says they will be distributing up to 5,500 HEPA filters to keep workers safe and reduce the risk of Covid-19 outbreaks on farms and in workplaces across the food supply chain.

Farms and agri-food businesses that employ and provide housing to international agri-food workers are eligible for one HEPA filter unit per employer provided congregate living setting.
