The purchase price for a suite in Perth Meadows will be going up in the new year.
Prices have not seen an increase at Perth Meadows since January 2020 as the municipality is looking to be more reflective of the current housing market, staff invited a local realtor to look a potential increase in the selling price of a unit.
Manager of Facilities, Jeff Newel reflects the price increase for one and two bedroom suits.
“The price of a one bedroom suite which is currently at $153,500 to $176,525. Two bedroom suites would be $194,000 is the current price with the proposed price of $223,100.” said Newell.
This number is equal to a jump of 15% as approved by the Perth Adult Life Care Residences Committee and was also approved by council.
This will take effect as of January 1st.
