Perth East is reminding farmers to report incidents of coyotes in the area or of other wildlife in incidents where livestock is injured or killed.
Residents are asked to contact the Perth East Clerk within 48 hours for investigation to take place and see if you are eligible for compensation through the Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program through OMAFRA.
Residents are also asked to take steps to ensure their livestock is also safe from wildlife.
