The Township of Perth East is looking to ensure parks in the area meet the needs the growing community.
The township is currently working on a Park Renewal and Redevelopment Strategy to direct the planning, management and redevelopment of major parks within Perth East.
The study will help establish concept plans and bring an action plan to guide capital planning for park sites.
This will include re-arrangement of current amenities and bring in new ones such as skateboard parks, splash pads and sport related courts.
