Perth County Tourism Receives $45,800,00

Money received for next year for experiential tourism

Perth County Tourism is keeping their focus on both the now and future with the province and the Rural Economic Development program.

Perth County was the recipient of $45,800,00 from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs RED program. Ashley Brockelbank, Perth County Tourism Officer says its great to be recognized from the province and be the recipient.

“Like Randy Pettapiece says, you can’t underestimate the economic importance of tourism in Perth County. We’re really grateful they did recognize that and giving us the support.” said Brockelbank

The money received will be set to focus of experiential tourism for next year.
