Perth County looking for input on the review and development of the Cultivating Opportunity grant program.
Each year, the County awards grant dollars to local community organizations on different projects.
Sean McCoy, Legislative Services Coordinator for Perth County says the program consists of two streams, the Tree Planting Stream and Community Stream.
The tree planting allows for funding to Lower Tier Municipalities to help offset costs for new tree planting while the Community Stream provides eligible organizations with funding for projects to enrich the community.
To ensure the program is as effective as possible, its currently under review with the public welcome to respond.
The survey is open until June 10th. Input can be submitted at PerthCounty.ca/Grants.
