Perth County OPP is investigating an incident of Inappropriate graffiti in Listowel.
Officers received a report on Monday at 12:25 pm that graffiti had been painted on the grounds of the local skatepark located on Derry Street East in Listowel.
It was determined unknown suspects attended the scene and painted graffiti on the ground of the park for the second time this month.
It consisted of a derogatory and offensive but non-threatening message.
Police advise that graffiti is considered mischief and it is a criminal offence that carries a maximum sentence of 2 years in jail upon conviction.
The OPP reminds residents to report anything suspicious to the police immediately.
If anyone is found committing acts of mischief appropriate charges will be laid.
