The Perth County OPP were called a disturbance in Milverton this morning at around 10:07 am.
Officers, along with the West Region Emergency Response Team, Tactics & Rescue and Crisis Negotiator responded to the scene of a barricaded person incident on Pacific Avenue.
This afternoon at around 3:30 pm, police arrested an adult male without incident.
The accused remains in custody and is facing criminal charges.
Pacific Avenue has since re-opened for public access.
