On May 24th just after midnight Perth County OPP on Perth Line 34 stopped a vehicle going 140km/hour in an 80 zone.
OPP upon stopping the vehicle also found an unsealed bottle of liquor with the driver.
The 17 year old from Mitchell is facing a slew of charges including racing, having a blood alcohol level above 0 as a novice driver and driving a motor vehicle with an unsealed bottle of liquor.
A seven day license suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment was also issued. The accused will appear in court in Stratford at a later date.
