Perth County OPP charge a 31 year old with break & entering

Accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing

Perth County OPP have arrested and charged a suspect after they broke into a residence in West Perth.

On Monday, November 30th just before 6pm officers received a report of a break and enter that had just occurred on a residence of Perth Road 180. The suspect was still in the residence at the time.

When police arrived they found the suspect had damaged the door to gain entry into the residence and was in possession of a knife. He was arrested without incident.

Charged is a 31 year old male with breaking and entering and 2 counts of failure to comply with a release order.
