Perth County offers information on Emergency Child Care Program for Essential Workers

Child care is provided at no cost to essential workers who qualify

The Province announced on April 12th the availability of emergency child care for eligible essential workers for school aged children.

The service is available in Stratford, Perth County and St. Marys with spaces allocated in chronological order from the date of application and only to those listed on the Province’s Eligible Workers list.

They will be required to have exhausted all other options for child care.

Stratford

The City of Stratford at the Anne Hathaway Day Care Centre

The YMCA of Three Rivers at Stratford District Secondary School

Mitchell

Perth Care for Kids at Upper Thames Elementary School;

St. Marys

The Town of St. Marys at Holy Name of Mary School

North Perth

Monkton at the Elma Logan Recreation Complex

Listowel at Westfield Elementary School,

Both by the Municipality of North Perth.

 

Applications to the Program are made through the City of Stratford. Registrations begin with screening for eligibility by calling the City of Stratford Early Years Coordinator at 519-271-3773 ext 404.
