Perth County Manager of Economic Development receives Distinguished Provincial Award

Perth County Manager of Economic Development & Tourism, Meredith Forget, has received  the province’s  most prestigious award for the economic development profession.

The Joseph A. Montgomery Award is designed to honour & celebrate economic development professionals who go above and beyond.

It is presented annually to a leader in the field to celebriate their significant contributions to economic development in Ontario based on demonstration of:

  • Projects with a substantive impact on their community
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with various levels of government, community & the private sector
  • Meaningful contributions to the economic development profession.

Forget says that she is deeply honoured and grateful to receive the recognition.

She adds that she owes her success to her dedicated team and the army of people who have supported her from the start.

She says she humbled and thankful.
