Perth County Council has awarded a contract towards the Courthouse Campus Project.
On Thursday, council gave the 5 Huron Renovation and Connecting Link Addition project to Dakon Construction for just over $5 million marking another step forward for a renewed Courthouse Campus for the County’s Administration.
For the past 16 months staff and the project design team has been working on the project to renovate both floors of the 5 Huron Street building to house the County’s administrative staff along with a new connecting link addition to provide the main entrance and central reception for both the Courthouse and 5 Huron Facilities.
The project is expected to break ground this September with the work finished by Fall 2024.
