The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is celebrating the completion of the Patient Room Rebuild Project at the St Marys Memorial Hospital.
This multi year project has transformed the hospital’s patient care areas with a focus on accessibility, infection control, safety and the overall patient experience.
Improvements to the room include barrier free washrooms, wider doorways, upgraded lighting with patient controlled options and enhanced heating and cooling.
Lyanne Mason, Vice President Partnerships, Transformation and Chief Nursing Executive says this renovation is a reflection of a community which stands behind its hospital and of a hospital that is committed to delivering care that meets the needs of today and is ready for tomorrow.
