Parking fines will be going up in Stratford come May.
Officials say starting May 1st an expired meter ticket will now be a $60 fine or $40 if paid within 7 days. Parking in a no parking spot will increase to $80 or 60 if paid within the first 7 days.
Parking will stay the same for costs in the city with the rate of on street parking spaces being $1.50 per hour with the rate in lots of $1.25 per hour.
