Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae was in Palmerston on Wednesday where he announced a new grant of $1.5 million as part of the province’s Regional Development Program.
The Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness Grant will go directly to supporting Trusscore, a building material supplier within the town.
Rae says the program will maintain work within the businesses as well as create jobs.
He adds the grant for Trusscore will pair with their $10 million investment to help create 68 new jobs and expand the business.
