A jury has found Michael Hurst of Palmerston guilty of sexually assaulting two more women.

The Guelph Superior Court heard from two women who say they were longtime friends with Hurst when the offences took place between 2003 and 2007 in the latest of strings of sexual offences against the Palmerston man.

This recent trail marks Hurst’s third relating to sexual offences who in May was given two year of house arrest and three years of probation after a judge found him guilty of sexually assaulting two women and committing an indecent act in front of three other women between 2007 and 2015.

His house arrest however was paused in November when a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting another two women between 2017 and 2020 and was sentenced to six months in prison.

Hurst will stay behind bars before returning to court in the new year for sentencing at the latest trial.

Nine women have since come forward against Hurst for sexual offences.
