The Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation has received a generous donation from Blair Masonic Lodge #314.
$55,000 has been donated to the Hospital Foundation which will be used to purchase two urinalysis analyzers plus interface for their laboratory.
A 30C upright freezer will also be purchased, a counter top water & ice dispensing machine for the patient floor as well as a medication packager for the pharmacy.
The pharmacy unit helps make sure correct medications and proper dosages are given to improve patient safety.
