A man from Owen Sound is $50,000 richer after winning a top prize with Instant Super Strike.
Samuel Brancati, who works as a lineman, has been playing the lottery for more than 30 years.
The father of two was on his way home from work when he made a quick stop to purchase the ticket.
After he scanned it with the store’s ticket checker he couldn’t believe the prize amount and ran out to his truck to check the ticket again on his phone.
Samual plans to put the money in the bank and sleep like a baby. He also plans to pay some bills and enjoy a trip to Italy.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on 9th Avenue East in Owen Sound.
