It was another successful year for the Shine Your Light Sunflower Tour on August 19th which drew in a large crowd for its 4th year.
The event hosted by Leona Ottens at her Moorefield farm was complete with a run through the sunflowers, market vendors, food booths and live music.
Donations were being accepted to support the Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation which has raised more than $6000 on the year.
The sunflower walk began in 2020 by Leona and her late husband Matt which started for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Despite Matts death in an incident in 2021 at Conestogo Lake, Leona has kept going with the event.
