Wellington County OPP issued an update yesterday afternoon regarding the search for a missing swimming at Guelph Lake.
The search had commenced on reports of a missing swimmer Sunday.
On Monday morning just before 10 am the OPP Underwater Search & Recovery Unit along with the Wellington County OPP recovered the body of the missing swimmer.
The coroner has attended the scene and a post mortem has been scheduled.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending a next-of-kin notification.
