OPP have published their yearly traffic data seeing how drivers on OPP patrolled roads, trials and waterways have fared in staying safe.

The data provides a two year snapshot of traffic fatalities, collisions and other factors.

Police say while traffic numbers were up in 2022 when compared to last year, the increase in fatalities noted the data should not be viewed or accepted as an inevitable outcome of more people on the roads who add a life lost in a preventable collision or other traffic incident is one too many.
