OPP across the province are in full swing for the Festive RIDE campaign, this includes Wellington County.
The program kicked off officially on November 30th and will run until early January.
Wellington County OPP so far have laid 97 impaired driving charges in 2021, this is down from the 114 which were given in 2020.
During this season, a heavy police presence will be found around roads to ensure everyone is out on the roads staying sober.
OPP say if you suspect someone is out on the roads driving impaired, you should call 911 or Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
