Police are turning to the public for any witnesses regarding a pick up truck hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene.
On May 30th at around 11pm, Wellington County OPP responded with fellow emergency services to a report of a pedestrian hit by a dark coloured pick up who was traveling eastbound on Belsyde Avenue East in Fergus.
The pedestrian suffered serious, life threatening injuries and was taken to a trauma centre. OPP are asking the public to review footage between the hours of 10:45pm-11:15pm on May 30th.
Police also say to be on the look out for any dark coloured trucks with heavy damage on the front right side or front right mirror area.
