Wellington County OPP are investigating a sexual assault of an individual posing a ride share driver.
It was reported on January 29th at around 1:15am, the victim was waiting at their residence on Woodlawn Road West when the suspect identified himself as the driver.
The victim left with the driver and was sexually assaulted.
Investigators continue to collect information on the suspect who’s described as a male, east Indian between 30-40 years old with short hair and spiked bangs, brown eyes, some facial hair growth, wearing jeans and a darker shirt.
The vehicle is described as a four dour sedan, possibly an older model Honda Civic and did not have any taximeter or typical rideshare navigation system.
The suspect reported he frequents Centre Wellington and Guelph.
