OPP investigating Overnight Break-In at Business in Fergus that causes Extensive Damage

Police say incident follows other senseless extensive damage to area car washes who have seen their vending systems heavily damaged for what amounts to mere dollars for the criminals.

Wellington County OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft from a store in Fergus.

Investigation by police have revealed the incident occurred sometime last night between 11pm and 4:30 am this morning.

Unknown suspects gained access to the building through the roof of the building and stole a quantity of lottery tickets, cash, cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

Constable Joshua Cunningham says police are still gathering information and shared the preliminary information via a Facebook Story on the OPP West Region Facebook page.

Police say the incident follows other senseless extensive damage to area car washes who have seen their vending systems heavily damaged for what amounts to mere dollars for the criminals.
