On Saturday at approximately 3:35pm the Wellington County OPP responded along with the Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services and Guelph Wellington Paramedics to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Second Line near Seventeen Side Road in Erin.
It was determined that a motorcycle travelling southbound on Second Line when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. The driver, a 56 year old male of Acton, was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP and West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team continue to investigate. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
