Wellington County OPP have laid charges for a string of suspicious fires in Mount Forest.
OPP kept busy during the week of June 4th when they first responded to a structure fire on Sligo Road West to a shed and vehicle fire on Cork Street, later just hours apart, police received a report of a yard waste bag being set on fire at a residence on Colcleugh Avenue.
As a result of investigation a 21 year old of Mount Forest has been charged with 3 counts of Arson, Damage to Property and Arson, Disregard for human life.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
