OPP asking drivers to watch out for horse & buggies after another crash in Carrick Township

Two drivers both 22 have been charged with careless driving bodily harm and careless driving causing death

South Bruce OPP are asking motorists to always be aware of horse drawn carriages when they are driving.

This message comes after two collisions involving horse and buggies and a motor vehicle, one of them resulting in a death.

On September 16th, 2020 a vehicle collided with a horse and buggy on Bruce Road 28 in Carrick Township resulting in the injury of 4 children.

South Bruce OPP charged a 22 year old from West Grey with careless driving causing bodily harm.

Two children died when a horse drawn carriage was struck by a vehicle on Bruce Road 10 in Brent Township on October 11th of last year.

A 22 year old from Carrick Township was charged with careless driving causing death in that incident.
