One person has been arrested after being found impaired and in possession of a stolen vehicle.
On July 24th just after 9am, Perth County OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver in a vehicle at a business on Ontario Road in West Perth.
When police arrived, the driver was showing signs of impairment and was arrested. Further investigation showed the accused to have just stolen a vehicle and in possession of drugs and other stolen property.
The 30 year old from Stratford has been charged with a handful of crimes including Operation while Impaired, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
