Ontario’s science advisors say COVID-19 cases, those in hospital and ICU are not increasing as the provinces vaccine rate continues to increase.
New modelling shows while a decline is showing, the situation is still fragile.
The group says infections have currently flattened with the increases to public health measures and immunizations which have proven effective to keep people out of hospitals.
The science board adding its uncertain on their predictions of future cases due to in-person schooling and work starting again as well as the volume of those spending more time indoors due to colder weather coming.
