Ontario Students to be Given Anti-Gen COVID Tests for Christmas Break

Pop up testing clinics also to be in busy spaces for holiday season

Ontario students will be sent home for the Christmas break with 5 rapid anti-gen COVID-19 tests.

The province announced the details of its winter testing plan and for the holidays. 11 million tests will be handed out over the next month to all publicly funded schools.

Those who take part in the program will be asked to take tests every three to four days starting December 23rd

The government also has plans to have pop up testing clinics in high traffic areas for the season such as malls, Christmas markets and retail stores for people to be tested.
