The Provincial Government has updated its guidance when it comes to testing positive for Covid-19.

The requirement to isolate for 5 days has been removed and now just advises to isolate until 24 hours after your symptoms end.

Masks are advised to be worn for 10 days after a previously Covid-positive person ends their voluntary isolation.

This will not be mandated by the province though.

This is the first change in health guidelines in regard to testing positive for Covid-19 since December 2021.

The isolation period was shortened at that time from the previous 10 days to 5 days.
