Perth County is reminding business owners of the Ontario Job Grant aimed to support businesses for employee training.
Up to $10,000 per employee is available to strengthen the workforce, upgrade employee skills and prepare for evolving industry needs.
Employers with fewer than 100 employees may only be required to contribute one sixth of training costs and could qualify for up to 100 per cent funding and $15,000 per trainee when hiring previously unemployed workers.
Perth County says this program is a valuable opportunity to enhance workforce skills while reducing training expenses.
