The Ontario government is expected to announce to later today its extension of the vaccine certificate rules as well make a change to the program.
A senior government source says the rules requiring vaccine certificates will not start to lift in January, which was the original plan for the province.
The measures are expected to remain in place until further notice.
Also in the planned announcement, proof of vaccination with paper slips will be removed and only a QR code will be accepted.
