Ontario Changes Masking Rules in Long Term Care Homes

It seems the province has made a change to masking rules in long term care homes though no announcement has been made.

Masks are no longer required for visitors or caregivers to wear when they are alone with a resident in their room.

A COVID-19 guidance document for long term care homes showed the rules were changed on Friday though no public announcement has been made since.

Long term care homes are among the few places where mask mandates have remained since most were lifted in June.
