There has been a GoFundMe setup for a family of a local woman who lost her life in a car crash on March 1st.
Chelsey Kamphuis was a 29 year old mother of 3 and tragically died in a 3 vehicle crash on Dufferin Road 109 west of Grand Valley.
The weather conditions at the time were described as treacherous with whiteouts and zero visibility at times.
She was a popular hairdresser in the area and she was a mother to a 2, 4 and 6 year old. She was expecting twins at the crash.
The fundraising campaign for her husband’ Wes, was meant to assist with the family’s needs and was setup by Deanna Allin of Scotland, Ontario.
Deanna didn’t know Chesley personally but wanted to find a way to help her family.
The money will be used for such things as funeral expenses and any other expenses incurred as her family deals with this huge loss.
As of this morning the GoFundMe had exceeded it’s goal of $7500 by reaching over $74,000.
