The roadway has since reopened following a crash in Wellington North.
On Wednesday at around 8:15am Wellington County OPP alongside fellow emergency services responded to a serious crash between a tractor-trailer and pickup truck which led to the closure of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 West / East but opened in the afternoon.
The driver of the pickup sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to a trauma centre.
The extent of the injuries are not known.
