One person is facing a robbert charged in Listowel following an incident.
Just before midnight on October 15, 2021 Perth County OPP responded to a report of an assault in the area of Maitland Avenue South in Listowel. Following an investigation it was determined that a robbery was committed. The victim was transported by Perth County Paramedics to local hospital with minor injuries.
A 28 year old male resident of Listowel was charged with robbery with violence.
They are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police do not believe there is a risk to public safety but do ask to stay vigilant and be aware of your personal surroundings.
