Old Groves Memorial Hospital Demolition Continues May 13th

 

The last phase of the old Groves Memorial Community Hospital demolition will begin May 13th.

The old hospital in Fergus got the green light from the Ministry of Health to demolish the old hospital last year with work over the last several months decommissioning work which has included the removal of interior walls and electrical and mechanical elements.

In a release, GMCH Senior Project Manager Joe Grasso says the final phase of the demolition work will take a few months.

Officials add there will be sign and fencing displayed to make pedestrians aware of the dangers.
